About Ethan Freckleton

Lasting well-being involves more than reducing symptoms—it often comes from feeling more connected to yourself, your values, and the people who matter most.

Ethan Freckleton

Hello. My name is Ethan Freckleton (he/him/his pronouns) and I am a licensed associate clinical social worker.

Before becoming a therapist, I trained as both a yoga instructor and a life coach. Those experiences continue to influence my perspective by reminding me that lasting well-being involves more than reducing symptoms—it often comes from feeling more connected to yourself, your values, and the people who matter most. My clinical work, however, is grounded in professional social work education, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based practice.

I believe each person already has strengths, resilience, and wisdom within them. My role isn’t to have all the answers—it’s to help you reconnect with those parts of yourself that can become harder to access when you’re overwhelmed, hurting, or stuck. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I see our relationship as a partnership built on trust, curiosity, and respect.

Change is a natural part of life, but that doesn’t make it easy.

Sometimes the life you’ve built no longer feels like it fits. Sometimes a relationship changes, a career shifts, your sense of identity evolves, or an unexpected loss leaves you feeling untethered. Whatever has brought you here, therapy offers a place to pause, listen to yourself more deeply, and discover a path forward that feels true to who you are.

Many of my clients are in their twenties and thirties, balancing relationships, career decisions, questions about identity, or simply trying to figure out what comes next. I also work with people healing from trauma, exploring sexuality or gender identity, and navigating both traditional and nontraditional relationships. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, and I welcome people of all identities, family structures, and relationship styles.

For younger clients, I have specialized training in Child-Centered Play Therapy and offer that for elementary-aged children on a limited basis. I also enjoy supporting parents and caregivers who want to strengthen their connection with their children through the language of play.

Reaching out for therapy takes courage. Whether you’re looking for support during a difficult season or hoping to create lasting change, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
