About Ethan Freckleton, MSW, LSWAIC

Ethan Freckleton

Hello! I’m Ethan Freckleton
{ he/him/his pronouns }

I am a licensed associate clinical social worker with additional training in coaching and child-centered play therapy. Serving  Millennial clients and their families, I’m here to help you reconnect with yourself in an affirming space where you can feel supported without judgment.

Build a sustainable life that actually matches what you want

Many of my clients are Millennials, balancing relationships, parenting, career decisions, questions about identity, or simply trying to figure out what comes next. I also work with people experiencing burnout, healing from trauma, exploring sexuality or gender identity, and navigating both traditional and nontraditional relationships. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, and I welcome people of all identities, family structures, and relationship styles.

Lasting well-being involves more than reducing symptoms—it often comes from feeling more connected to yourself, your values, and the people who matter most. My clinical work, however, is grounded in professional social work education, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based practice.

I believe each person already has strengths, resilience, and wisdom within them. My role isn’t to have all the answers—it’s to help you reconnect with those parts of yourself that can become harder to access when you’re overwhelmed, hurting, or stuck. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I see our relationship as a partnership built on trust, curiosity, and respect.

How can I support you today?

Individual Counseling (Twenties/Thirties/Millennials)

I would be honored to help you navigate life’s challenges as they arise and assist you in exploring your internal and external worlds. I will also invite you be open, attentive and curious about what arises in our conversations together!

Child-Centered Play Therapy

Play is the language of children. I have specialized training in Child-Centered Play Therapy and early intervention experience in pre-school and elementary settings. I offer this intervention for elementary-aged children on a limited basis.

Parent Support

Engaging through a coaching, non-therapeutic lens, I also enjoy supporting parents and caregivers who want to strengthen their connection with their children through the language of play.
